“ Life on Earth is filled with invisible but significant progress. Lots of mind-blowing sights… “
Unique spaces with identity
“Light is the foundation of my work. I travel the world to design extraordinary light installations. I carefully choose and characterize materials during brainstorming sessions with my clients to achieve a never-before-seen visual experience. The culmination and taste depend on the type and use of the space or room. My mission is to create unique spaces, giving them an identity and a soul. I create atmospheres and manage to enlighten my art with and without a constant source of energy. Thus, the spectator can experience the result in any light conditions and, in that way, enjoy it in all its facets.
While focusing on light installations and interior designs worldwide, I have been drawn into many different types of creative works by my clients on a wide range of projects and collaborations with institutions, corporate clients, architects, interior designers, and landscape engineers since 2003.”
Biography:
Bogi Fabian is a Hungarian artist most commonly known for her multiluminous art pieces. Her works include light installations, mural art, ceramics, painting, body painting, sculpting, filming, and photography landscaping art, and her upcoming carbon-crystal infra-red heating system collection.
Bogi ’s artistic journey is a profound exploration of light as a medium to reveal the inner dimensions of the human experience. From an early age, she has been captivated by the interplay between light, darkness, and the self, using this fascination to create artworks that serve as beacons of personal and spiritual illumination. Her work is deeply influenced by a blend of scientific research and spiritual philosophy, reflecting a commitment to exploring how light can be harnessed to emphasize inner truth and self-knowledge.
Boglárka “Bogi” Réka Fábián was born in Körmend, Hungary, on July 21st, 1984, into an educated but somewhat troubled family background. Bogi used art to express herself while moving around the country and living in different foster facilities. She experimented with singing, dancing, and other art fields before settling for visual arts and writing. Having received no advanced formal education in art, Bogi has self-developed her unique techniques over the years, encouraged by her surroundings to continue working on her skills.
At the age of seventeen, Bogi left Hungary to pursue other ventures following a love interest. These events marked her first forays into pursuing art as a profession in her early twenties. She first started selling her paintings and slowly began receiving accolades throughout Europe for her portraits, nude figure depictions, and other works at various competitions and exhibitions.
Under the motto: “Art - even when the lights go down.”
In 2007, Bogi started experimenting with Ultraviolet light and glow-in-the-dark colors as an attempt to elevate the fluorescent, photoluminescent, phosphorescent, and infra-red techniques into mainstream art, first using them as add-ons for paintings, and live performances, which were later followed by body-painting, full-on murals, ceramics, and other art pieces that use the complete effects of the techniques in one.
While taking up various assignments in photography, painting, and other artistic ventures in Italy, Bogi perfected the self-titled “multiluminous” technique that incorporates various glow-in-the-dark and “classical” painting skills and crafts that are capable of showing different images under different spectra or in the absence of light.
2015 - Following the massive interest in her glowing murals, she developed a printing technology replicating her art.
Central to Bogi’s artistic philosophy is the belief that light and even the absence of light serve as a powerful metaphor for inner clarity and self-awareness.
Her work also highlights the spiritual significance of light and its impact on holistic health. Exploration of light’s manifestation in the physical realm and the examination of electromagnetic effects on well-being provide a backdrop for understanding how Bogi’s glowing art navigates the delicate balance between natural and artificial light.
In her creations, Bogi captures the essence of these philosophies, creating pieces that are not merely visual representations but also experiential journeys into the self. Each artwork is designed to resonate with the viewer on a deep level, inviting them to explore their inner light, darkness, and the transformative potential it holds.
